I damaged the car on my way back to Porto. I stopped to get a coffee and parked in a regular parking space. While maneuvering to leave the space, the car made light contact with a low object that I didn’t see. I immediately stopped and checked the area and later noticed damage on the lower side of the bodywork.
A rental representative inspected the vehicle on check-in and recorded the damage immediately, and I was charged € 2,336.
I filed a claim, answered a few questions, and provided additional documents and the claim was swiftly approved.
I rented a car in the USA. My rental car was rear ended while I was stopped to turn left at a small intersection.
I received a request for payment of $6,951.73. My car hire excess insurance with CarInsuRent covered my excess liability up to US$ 2,500.
My claim was partially approved due to the fact that I purchased coverage for $2,500 and I thought that this will be enough.
Many thanks for your communications.
We confirm the receipt of 1438.10 EUR in the PayPal account.
I rented a car during a trip to Spain (Marbella) from Enterprise Rent-a-Car. While going to a shopping center, on underground parking, a roundy way down, I hit a very high curb with the right side of the car.
The car rental company has charged me € 3,500 deductible as excess in the CDW insurance.
I filed a claim with CarInsuRent and after the amount was reduced by Enterprise to € 1,387 I received the payment from CarInsuRent.
During my rental a stone chip hit the front windshield. The damage is a tiny surface mark on the windshield, hardly visible unless pointed out carefully. It looks more like a very small chip or scratch. There was no noticeable crack or spreading and it was noticed only after I returned the car.
This was my second claim with these guys (the previuos one was on November 2024) and I can confirm that I got the payment.
Thank you for processing it promptly and for bringing this matter to a close.
I rented a car from Enterprise in the UK.
When I returned the vehicle, the guy at the return found a scratch on the passenger door.
I filed a claim with CarInsuRent, and had photos of the Car from the day we picked up the Car, showing that the damage is new.
They processed and paid out the claim within 7 days.
We rented RV for our three-week trip in Scotland.
The skylight’s acrylic panel cracked and the hinge/retaining mechanism was damaged after the wind forced it beyond its normal range when it was partially open. We immediately reinstalled the sealing lid and secured it with tape to prevent water ingress and notified the rental company. The unit was later replaced by the rental company upon return.
The claims team dealt with my claim very easily
Europcar charged me for a minor scratch reported on return, which I strongly dispute having caused.
I filed a claim with carinsurent. They sent a list of questions and requested additional documents.
It seems that I was charged for pre existing damage and this part of the claim wasn't approved.
Finally the claim was approved and I received the payment.
The damage was noticed only upon returning the car. At that time, the company representative examined the vehicle and acknowledged the damage.
I provided carinsurent images that I took when I picked up the vehicle, showing that the damage didn't exist.
My claim for € 1,018.82 was fully approved.
