Never had to claim but very straightforward, simple, online transaction. Customer service was responsive via email and answered my questions prior to placing the order.
This is my second year with this company. I’ve recently had to make a claim for around $650 due to an accident I got involved in with a hire car in Mexico. I submitted all the right paperwork and in 3 weeks they had processed my claim and refunded the money in full to me.
It saved me tons of cash as the hire companies usually charge high amounts of money for a full cover.

I had to make a claim. I sent the documents via email. A few days later they responded and asked a few questions. The claim was resolved quickly without a fuss.
Due to WizAir failure I had to cancel my policy. CarInsuRent were very helpful and quickly refunded my money in full. Very happy with the way they dealt with the matter.
Just had my claim settled in full. To be honest didn't really expect this to happen at all and so hassle free. I expected some clause that would nullify my claim, such as I didn't notify them when the damage occured.
$79 per year is money well spent as I probably hire cars at least twice a year.
