Yes you can!!
If you hold an Annual Policy, you may submit multiple claims during the policy period, provided that the total amount reimbursed does not exceed the maximum policy limit (the “Excess”) stated in your schedule.
- The first claim under the Annual Policy is not subject to a claim fee.
- A second claim filed during the same policy period will incur a claim fee of USD 150.
- A third claim and any subsequent claims filed during the same policy period will each incur a claim fee of USD 500.
The claim fee structure is designed to reflect the continued value of your Annual Policy following a claim event. The USD 150 claim fee applicable to a second claim is equivalent in value to the cost of a new Annual Policy – however, rather than requiring policyholders to purchase a new policy following a first claim, CarInsuRent allows coverage to continue uninterrupted for the remainder of the policy period at no additional cost.
In the event that a second claim becomes necessary within the same policy period, the applicable claim fee represents the policyholder’s proportionate contribution toward the ongoing coverage they continue to benefit from – effectively the cost of the policy that was not separately purchased. This approach is intended to reward claim-free rentals while ensuring that policyholders who require multiple claims within a single period contribute fairly to the cost of that extended coverage.
In summary: a first claim does not affect your continued coverage or require any additional payment. A second claim within the same policy period incurs a fee of USD 150, reflecting the sustained value of your Annual Policy rather than a penalty for making a claim.
Example:
If you purchase an Annual Policy with a total excess limit of USD 2,500 and you submit a claim for USD 1,200, you remain covered for the balance of USD 1,300 for future rentals within the same policy period. If you file a 2nd claim for USD 2,300, we will deduct USD 150, and you be entitled to receive only USD 1,150 out of your claim.
